A powerful piece of branding for a textile designer.
Background
Rachel Sanders is a textile designer who specialises in ornamental printed fabrics, taking inspiration from a range of botanicals and the natural world. In 2017 she required an elegant yet, powerful piece of branding that reflected her personality and style, and could be applied across various print and digital assets.
Two lavish serifs were used to reflect the ornamental details of Rachel's designs. The primary font, Goku, was edited to create a custom monogram, forming a bold hybrid of the client's initials. This was combined with a monochrome colour palette to compliment the vibrant, colourful patterns – three of which were chosen and centrally featured across conceptual promotional assets including business cards, letterhead, tags and website.
