A re-brand for a health and wellness small business.
Lucas Mind & Body is personal health and wellness business, that aims to make healthy eating and excercise more accessible in order to improve societal and individual physical and mental health. The client required a re-brand that more clearly visualised her business aims in a flexible more cohesive way.
I worked closely with the client in order to clearly outline her mission, aims and values. These helped inform the key concept of her visual identity, which was implemented through a new logo, print and digital assets. Accompanying brand guidelines were also included to guide correct usage.

At the centre of the re-brand is an updated logo. A graphic illustration of a plant growing from a brain stands as a metaphor for the symbiosis between mind and body and how just like a plant our brain needs nourishment with good food and exercise to grow healthily. The new brand colours sought to reflect the brand's aims and values, symbolising balance, health and the natural world via a combination of green hues. The inclusion of a two colour gradient adds a sense of gradual growth via the coming together of mind and body, physical activity and healthy eating. These aspects are reflected in the brand imagery.
